Private Duty Nursing Services are skilled nursing services that are provided on a continuous basis to clients with complex medical needs of any age in their home. Act provides PDN services to both Pediatric and Adult patients.
Referrals
ACT works with various referral sources such as physician offices, insurance companies, hospital discharge planners, family members, case workers and supports coordinators of the various waiver programs.
Payor
ACT accepts payments from Medicare and Medicaid, Medicaid HMOs, various insurance companies, including Independence Blue Cross, Aetna, Keystone Mercy Health Plan, United Healthcare and Health Partners as well as various waiver programs and private medical trusts.

ACT has taken a new initiative this year, and it’s giving back to our community. ACT is giving back to those organizations and charities that make a difference to our local and national community. Whether the times are good or bad, ACT helps Philadelphia, and other surrounding communities by volunteering, raising money, and etc.
